Why Remanufactured vs Rebuilt or Used?

USED ENGINES are pulled directly from a vehicle – many times a junkyard vehicle – and generally not even so much as surface cleaned. There are no provisions for disassembly, internal cleaning, or inspection. Used or junkyard engines may have high mileage and a poor maintenance history – a failure waiting to happen. Many used or junkyard engines come from a vehicle that was involved in an accident and may have unseen damage.

REBUILT ENGINES are reconditioned by cleaning, inspecting and replacing severely worn or broken parts. The engine is repaired up to the level of failure for which there was a need of rebuilding; but apart from that, components are left intact. Testing, quality, and reliability of a rebuilt engine depends upon the individual rebuilder from whom you are getting the job done.

REMANUFACTURED ENGINES are remanufactured to the original blueprints and exact specifications. All core material – head and block castings, crankshaft, camshaft and rods - are carefully inspected, checked against original equipment specifications for correct tolerances and precisely machined. Replacement parts are new or requalified to meet exacting standards and tolerances. Testing is performed to manufacturer measured specifications and original production standards. THIS IS WHAT WE OFFER.
